Liam Gallagher is left without a support act as rapper Slowthai – whose real name is Tyron Frampton – has “pulled out” of Liam’s UK arena tour.
Liam took to Twitter on Friday to let fans know the 24 year old rapper will no longer be opening for him and admitted he is “gutted”.
Although he didn’t give a reason for the cancellation, Liam wished the rapper well on his upcoming tour in the US.
When asked by a fan if a replacement will be announced, Liam replied: “New support will be announced soon.”
The ‘Live Forever’ singer was inundated with suggestions and even former Oasis bandmate, ‘Bonehead’offered to fill the slot.
If we had to put money on it we’d take a guess that Miles Kane will be the replacement act. Miles has supported Liam before back in the Beady Eye era and Liam was spotted watching Miles’ performance at Nambucca on Wednesday, August 14.
Miles has also announced he has exciting news to announce at the beginning of September so keep an eye out.
Fans have also suggested that Gerry Cinnamon should be the replacement after he supported Liam in Cork back in July.
The tour – which is in support of Liam’s upcoming second solo album ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ – will kick off at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on November 11.
