Following on from their second studio album For Now which reached 13th in the UK official album chart, the DMA’s are back working with MTV Unplugged for album number three.
Recorded at Melbourne’s intimate Memo Music Hall last October the new album features 14 tracks from the previous two albums For Now and Hills End which see’s a new stripped back acoustic style to them rather than their usual up beat britpop sound.
Lay Down, Delete, and Step up The Morphine are a few that have been revamped for the new album providing a softer sound to them which allows the listener to connect further with the lyrics.
Unfortunately for fans there is no new written content however the new album features Tommy O’Dell covering Madonna’s Beautiful Stranger which is a real stand out track on the album.
The album is available now on all major music platforms.
